We have various cleanup locations throughout the Fox River Watershed available to suit all ages

2008 Water Willow Plantings -Cancelled
Friends of the Fox River will be canceling this years plantings due to high waters,
we will be continuing its successful river habitat improvement initiative -- water willow planting -- in 2009, Planting dates and
locations will be announced next spring
July 26 - Oswego River Cleanup (Saturday)
* Walkers - 10:15am
meet at Violet Patch Park We will divide into teams.
Teams will disperse to various shoreline sites, including Waubonsee Creek.
We may also set up additional teams, depending on the number of volunteers.
* Kayakers and Canoeists - 9:30am (Bring your own watercraft)
- car shift at 9:30am from Violet Patch Park, on IL 25 a mile North of the intersection
of IL 25 and U.S. 34 (use parking lot along IL 25).
We will cleanup down to Saw Wee Kee Park.

September 20th - Its Your River Day! (Saturday) * Volunteers Needed. We need everyone’s help to protect the Fox River and its tributaries. We invite you, your friends and family to pitch in at the Fox River Cleanups. We have various cleanup locations and dates available to suit all ages.

You just may be the lucky winner of a A Brand NEW Rogue River 14Tk Canoe,
Visit our booth at Hunting and fishing days and get your tickets, The Canoe drawing will be
on Sept 28 at 4:00 pm - Silver Springs State Park - 13608 Fox Road, Yorkville, Illinois 60560
This canoe raffle will help support our efforts on the Fox River.
