River Cleanup – Friends in Action
March 23 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Join us for a river cleanup at Gregory Island Park in Aurora, in partnership with The Fox Valley Park District and Aurora University, and help to keep the river and surrounding areas clean and healthy!
The Fox Valley Park District will provide litter pickers, trash bags, and latex gloves for the volunteers. You can also bring your own supplies. We will have a fish scale to weigh each bag of trash along with a trash data collection sheet to help track the total number of bags collected, the total pounds of trash removed, and the total number of volunteers who participated in the clean-up.
