TREESisters HeARTland Grove Gathering with June Kiebler

September 7 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Kathleen will open the circle with a relaxing Forest visualization. Then as always, feel free to bring a piece of nature, a poem, or a simple sharing for our Earth Altar, that shows your connection and desire to restore our precious Earth.

Tonight’s special presentation: “The importance of Reforestation and Native Plants in our Landscape,” comes from TreeSister June Kiebler, sharing her vast Earth wisdom, contributions, and environmental expertise.

June is a member of the following environmental organizations: Northern Kane County Wild Ones and Elgin Garden Club;  she’s a board member of The Land Conservancy of McHenry County;  Dundee Township Open Space workday coordinator; co-steward of Raceway Woods for Dundee Township and Kane County Forest Preserve District; former board member of The Conservation Foundation, and she’s on the committee to save Open Space in Dundee Township.  June has worked in ecological restoration for about 35 years. She’s also a mom and grandmom.
