Communications: Protecting the Fox River in the Information Age
Every one of the strategies described so far, and our renewed ambition to operate throughout the Fox River watershed from Waukesha to Ottawa, relies on enhancing our ability to communicate.
Information gleaned from our “Members Demographic Survey” and phone interviews conducted during the strategic planning process indicated how the ways we communicate with our audiences need to keep up with the stunning expansion of ways different groups and people of different ages now communicate with each other.
Our Plan calls for better serving our members by creating a new monthly Members Newsletter. The new newsletter will focus on who FOTFR’s officers, board, staff and volunteers are, what they’re doing, and will work to engage our members as a network to help with our events, communications, advocacy, marketing and fundraising.
