Inspired by Nature and Created by Local Artists

Join us for Second Sundays at Schweitzer Environmental Center on Sunday, December 8, 11:00 pm – 3:00 pm for our annual Nature Arts & Crafts Show. The center becomes a holiday wonderland while artists and craftspeople gather to show and sell their nature-inspired wares.

Find a truly unique gift that is inspired by nature and created by local artists like Jenny Hibbs with Honestly Inspired who makes hand-crafted, natural goat’s milk soap, plus pet portraits and treats.

“I make extra gentle soaps with ingredients from nature such as shea & mango butters, avocado & hemp oils and other moisturizing ingredients.” said Jenny Hibbs.

Other artists and craftspeople will showcase holiday decor, yarn creations, hand-crafted jewelry, crocheted animals and baked goods. FOTFR 2025 wall calendars and fresh evergreen arrangements will also be available for sale, and while most of our participants are local, there will be a selection of handmade jewelry and artifacts from Uganda in support of the Bwindi Watoto School.
