Committees

The work Friends of the Fox River does is largely envisioned, organized and conducted by volunteers on committees.

Dedicated board members, staff and volunteers work together to advocate for the river and watershed, organized and conduct clean ups, communicate with the general public and our members, work with students and community groups as educators, build engagement and membershipmonitor water quality, conduct restoration projects along the river, and host school & youth groups, events and meetings at our Schweitzer Environmental Center.

Board members and staff direct and manage organizational operations through the work of the Executive, Communications, Finance, Membership and Schweitzer Environmental Center Committees.
