We are excited to announce the First Annual EL CARDUNAL, a 10-mile kayak and canoe paddle, from Algonquin to Elgin on June 22, 2025.
We invite you to join the Elgin, Carpentersville, Dundee, and Algonquin communities in this celebration of the National Park System’s designation of the Fabulous Fox! Water Trail and our shared stewardship of the Fabulous Fox! watershed. The celebration will conclude in Elgin with food, music, entertainment, and sponsor displays promoting preservation and restoration of the Fox River watershed.
