TO BE RESCHEDULED – Join State Representative Matt Hanson as he hosts a Meet the Friends of the Fox River (FOTFR) event Thursday June 11^th from 2-4 pm at the Oswego Library.

This is a family-friendly event. Guests will be introduced to how the Fox River and the landscape around it were formed. Children will be able to touch a beaver skull, a turtle shell and mussel shells.

The second half of the program will be a short walk to Hudson’s Crossing Park where Waubonsie Creek meets the Fox River. There, the group will collect and analyze insects in the creek (macroinvertebrates) to determine the health of the creek. Dress for the forecasted weather and wear waterproof shoes/boots.
