Crystal Lake Green Drinks – Planning Your ZERO WASTE Year

The presenter is Kay McKeen, Founder & Executive Director of SCARCE (School & Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education).

SCARCE is an award-winning environmental education non-profit dedicated to creating sustainable communities based in Glen Ellyn. They accomplish this through innovative and hands-on education programs for schools and organizations, demonstrating care for our natural resources through their Book Rescue, and engaging the broader public through community-wide events and programs.

Come talk about “greening” the future with others. Must be 21 to purchase alcohol – non-alcoholic drinks are available, of course! Chef Zak always has a special complimentary hors d’oeuvre.

We have an information table set up and you are welcome to bring information about your green products and services each month to share.

Additional parking is available at the train station.
