Water-Quality Monitoring In-Stream Training for Citizens and Teachers

August 10, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

IDNR biologists

Friends of the Fox River’s water quality monitoring efforts play an important role in protecting stream health.

Join other teachers and citizens to gain the skills necessary to conduct chemical, physical and biological assessments in local Fox River tributaries. Our trainings will help to create a community of schools, teachers, and citizens with the confidence and responsibility to help monitor and keep our watershed healthy.

All equipment will be provided by The Friends of the Fox River. However, you are welcome to bring your own boots if you have them. Please dress for the forecasted weather.

If you’re interested in attending either training session, Friday or Saturday, contact Gary Swick to RSVP
