Inspired by Nature and Created by Local Artists

Join us for Second Sundays at Schweitzer Environmental Center on Sunday, December 8, 11:00 pm – 3:00 pm for our annual Nature Arts & Crafts Show. The center becomes a holiday wonderland while artists and craftspeople gather to show and sell their nature-inspired wares.

Find a truly unique gift that is inspired by nature and created by local artists like Jenny Hibbs with Honestly Inspired who makes hand-crafted, natural goat’s milk soap, plus pet portraits and treats.

“I make extra gentle soaps with ingredients from nature such as shea & mango butters, avocado & hemp oils and other moisturizing ingredients.” said Jenny Hibbs.

Other artists and craftspeople will showcase holiday decor, yarn creations, hand-crafted jewelry and baked goods. FOTFR 2025 wall calendars and fresh evergreen arrangements will also be available for sale, and while most of our participants are local, there will be a selection of handmade jewelry and artifacts from Uganda in support of the Bwindi Watoto School.
