Volunteer now to help cleanup along the Fox River in Aurora as Friends of the Fox River supports the Aurora Kiwanis Club’s “One Day” event.

This is the 13^th year that Kiwanis Club of Aurora has a “One Day” objective to unite volunteers to participate on the same day in a hands-on service project to better our community. Last year 475 volunteers removed trash from in and around the Fox River, Indian Creek and Fox Valley Park District park locations.

Meet at the Cole Center Administrative Office, 101 West Illinois Ave, Aurora, IL 60506. Kiwanis Is partnering with Fox Metro Water Reclamation District, Fox Valley Park District, City of Aurora, Aurora Township as well with other local agencies and environmental groups to cleanup, and raise awareness about keeping medications out of the river.
