They are celebrating International Women’s Day, so the meeting will extend an additional hour. International Women’s Day is a celebration of all women’s work, achievements, and contributions across the globe.

They will participate in a global weaving project called “Weaving Women Back into Matter,” an opportunity to nourish themselves and their community around the planet.

They will be weaving simple yarn belts, sometimes referred to as womb belts. Participants don’t need any previous experience in weaving to participate. There will be videos and tutorials to follow. Treesisters grand vision for this project is to weave otheir way around the whole world.

Donations will be accepted for the yarn and other supplies and of course also to plant trees.

They will have fruit-infused water. Please bring a snack to share.
